To start, we took the train from Monthey to Aigle, to go to La Perrole with the teacher. We took the train to Aigle. When we arrived, we spoke with a man who described the agricultural farm. We were separated into two groups. First we planted Swiss chards* seedlings; we had to put minimum 20 cm between each plant. It took us a good hour to plant the Swiss chards.
Today we are going to talk about our school trip to the “Domaine de la Perrole”.
What is “La Perrole”?
It’s an agricultural farm where they cultivate only organic crop. The creator and the boss of la Perrole is Pierre Alain Schweizer and the place is in Aigle, Ch. des Prés de Mars 2. They started in 2009.
We went there in October. We had school in the morning. We finished at 11.30. “Appointment in the school yard” said our cooking teachers. We ate sandwiches, and waited 5-10 minutes to go to the train station. Then we walked to the town center and got on the train. In the train, we spoke with our friends and watched the landscape. We went past pretty vineyards. The trip lasted fifteen minutes.
